Dragonfly Uploader is a Windows desktop app by The Dragonfly Catalyst™ for creators who keep a folder of videos and publish them to their own YouTube channel. You set an archive up once; after that, every new video is numbered, named and uploaded in order, privately, with nothing to click.
What it does
- Numbers every video in your archive folder in order, and never skips one.
- Renames the files and keeps each YouTube title matching the archive, for example “My Journey 12”.
- Uploads to your own YouTube channel through the official YouTube Data API, one at a time, privately.
- Adds each video to the playlist you choose, in number order, and puts the playlist back in order if it gets mixed up.
- Creates and edits your playlists, and starts the next one when a playlist is full.
- Watches the folder and uploads new videos as they arrive. You only hear from it when something needs you.
- Optional phone companion: see what’s uploading and pause or start the queue from your phone.
How it works
- Sign in with a Dragonfly account, then connect your YouTube channel through Google’s own sign-in page.
- Choose your archive folder and the video that is #1.
- Pick the channel, the playlist and a title for your videos, and confirm the renames once.
- Dragonfly numbers, renames and uploads every video in order, and keeps going as new videos arrive.
Your YouTube account
Dragonfly Uploader asks Google for one permission, to manage your YouTube videos and playlists, and uses it only on the channel you connect. It never deletes your videos, and it never sees your Google password. You can remove its access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
